Welcome! Welcome to DurangoCAP.com! This is the internet home of the Civil Air Patrol - San Juan Composite Squadron, based in Durango, Colorado. It's September and 2008 seems to be flying by! Colorado Wing in May of this year responded to 24 missions from the AFRCC, as a result COWG has earned a unit Citation. September is also National Preparedness Week. An oppurnity to remind each of us to get prepared and get involved in disaster prevention, preparedness and response. As members of the CAP you are already doing a large part, but if you are looking for more ways to get involved check CAP NHQ or contact the local American REd Cross Office. There will be more updated in the future so keep checking this site for more information. We are very proud to have you as our guest and want to provide the highest level of service to you while visiting our site. These pages are updated frequently with new information and checked to see that all links are working. Please enjoy all the information we have provided and share the fun with others. How To Navigate We have tried to make this site easy to navigate. On the top of every page are a series of headings to help you find what you need. The Information Heading of our site is designed for those of you looking for information about the Civil Air Patrol and the San Juan Composite Squadron. Overall it is designed for the non-member seeking an understanding of our missions and programs. The Member Services Heading is designed for local members to find useful information pertaining to them. It contains detailed information about our missions, members and activities. Some areas of this heading are protected by passwords for the safety and privacy of our members. Members may also link directly to Member Services/e-Services on the national website for access to the national database. Meetings Next Cadet Meeting: CADET MEETINGS are held every Tuesday from 1830 to 2030 unless otherwise posted COLOR GUARD will meet at 1730 UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED: BDUs will be worn the 1st, 3rd, and 4th Tuesdays; Blues will be worn on the 2nd.
